Domino’s Full Menu & Prices

Table of Contents

No matter where you live, chances are good that you have a Domino’s nearby – or within an easy drive. As the largest pizza franchise in the world, the company serves more than a million customers each day.  The chain is easily recognizable for its red, white, and blue domino logo, which is featured on all of its packaging.

Domino’s was founded as a pizza shop, and it remains committed to delivering hot, fresh pizza quickly. Its menu now includes a range of other items to compete with other fast food restaurants – like sandwiches, pasta, and desserts. Domino’s is affordable, and offers many coupons to encourage customers to buy more pizza, like its mix-and-match deal.

At Budget Branders, we know that not every pizza shop wants to become a Domino’s competitor. But if you want to expand your business and increase sales, borrowing some of Domino’s techniques – such as using custom-branded plastic cups and napkins – can be a great place to start. Reach out to our branding team to learn more about our full range of high-quality disposable products, all of which are sold at fair prices and in small quantities.

All about Domino’s

Founded in Ypsilanti, Michigan in 1960, Domino’s has grown to become the largest pizza franchise in the world. It currently has more than 15,000 stores in over 90 countries.

The company started when two brothers – Tom and James Monaghan – bought an existing pizza chain, DomiNick’s. Eventually, Tom bought James’ share of the business and wanted to expand. However, the original owner of the store wouldn’t let him use the name DomiNick’s for the expansion. An employee came up with the idea of Domino’s Pizza, and Tom officially renamed the pizza chain in 1965.

Ultimately, the company dropped the “Pizza” and became known simply as Domino’s. Its red, blue, and white color scheme is instantly recognizable, although with its trademark domino logo. While the pizza was the primary menu focus for years, the company ultimately expanded its options. Its focus remains on delivery to ensure that it is as efficient as possible.

Over the years, Domino’s has had many memorable marketing campaigns. In the 1980s, it featured a character called the Noid – which was a cartoon-like character that personified any bad pizza delivery experience. The catchphrase “Avoid the Noid” was used to encourage customers to order pizza from Domino’s instead of a competitor pizza shop.

For many years, Domino’s offered a free pizza if it wasn’t delivered within 30 minutes. However, after a woman was killed in an accident caused by a speeding delivery driver, Domino’s moved away from this advertising.

While Domino’s has faced criticism for its pizza quality over the years, it retooled its recipe and added new menu items. The company has many devoted fans around the world who enjoy the consistency, ease of ordering, and relatively quick delivery times.
